UK Lockdown 2.0 Letters & Tips

Updated: 6 days ago

There are a number of useful letter templates (for your MP) and tips about mask exemption and opting out of NHS QR codes floating around social media. A few of them are collected here.

LETTERS FOR CITIZENS AHEAD OF NOV 04

Commons will debate and vote on the tough new measures on Wednesday, November 4, just a day before the lockdown is expected to begin.

Use this handy form from Save Our Rights UK to voice your opposition to your MP.

Alternative letters can be found on the Lockdown Sceptic website. (It's a long page - worth a read. For the letters - look for the photo of parliament.)

FOR BUSINESSES: A LETTER OF NON-COMPLIANCE TO LOCKDOWN

This letter must be sent to your MP by Nov 05. Find it here.

It is written by Clare Wills, a solicitor, of The Rational Global Alliance – Rational thinking in an Irrational World.

The Rational Global Alliance is a group of individuals intent on bringing a Group Litigation (“Class Action”) against the UK Government, and other key individuals and organisations, who have acted together and created a humanitarian and economic crisis on both a national and global level.

TIPS for INDIVIDUALS REGARDING TRACK & TRACE

You are not required to use the NHS QR system if you don't have a smart phone or don't wish to use the app.

The business is required to provide a manual check-in alternative.

This is clearly stated on the NHS website.

TIPS for INDIVIDUALS REGARDING MASKS

Exempt individuals are not required to provide proof of medical exemption in verbal or written form. The Government has issued a guideline, not a law. You do not have to comply if you believe it is not in the best interest of your health to do so. If questioned, all you need to do is state you are exempt.

More info here.

StandUpX members have entered NHS facilities (including A&E), all forms of public transport, shops, and London airports without wearing masks or being questioned.

It's another story on board airplanes - as there are separate aviation laws that apply, and many people have been denied air transport for mask refusal worldwide.
